Rachel Ryder's Killer Headline is Live on Amazon

Rachel Ryder is back, and this time the victim is someone who made her living asking questions.

Killer Headline, Book 13 in the Rachel Ryder series, released on October 13.

Layla Rowe was a reporter who didn’t know when to stop digging. She asked the wrong people the wrong questions, and now she’s dead. Her laptop is missing, and whatever she was about to publish is missing with it. Someone in Hamby wants her last story buried as deep as she is.

Rachel has lived in Hamby long enough to think she knows where the bodies are hidden. She’s wrong. Layla’s trail leads to forged documents, quiet land grabs, and a web of payoffs that runs straight into city hall. The closer Rachel gets, the clearer it becomes that this murder wasn’t only about silencing a story. It was a warning to anyone else thinking about telling it.

This one is personal for me. Before I wrote thrillers, I worked as a journalist in the Atlanta suburbs. I know what it’s like to chase a story that someone doesn’t want told. Thankfully, mine never ended like Layla’s.

If you’ve already read it, I’d be so grateful for a quick review on Amazon. A sentence or two is plenty, and reviews in these first few weeks are what put Rachel in front of new readers.

Happy reading, Carolyn
