Hello friends! 
What an interesting week I've had. Nature has come to visit daily. We've had our usual deer, turkeys, the neighbors cats, a coyote (kai-oat-a-gee as my son used to say), and of course, the crows...BUT...we've also had a very territorial male bluebird claiming his turf—our back deck and the two bird boxes on it.

He must be courting a hard to get female bluebird because he is on a mission! He dive bombs us, sits on our (freshly painted) window sills and poops, and as cute as he is, is becoming a pain in the but but only because he tries to keep us off the deck. It's funny, but I respect his efforts, and I go inside.

That's the annoying part! 

This weekend is the first we won't have guests in several weeks, and I'm looking forward to spending time with the hubby, outside of the UGA game, of course. Maybe I'll sit on the couch and work while it's on. That way I can convince him to watch a Hallmark Christmas movie later that night! Yes, I watch them.
