Hello friends! 

I'm writing this on Thursday and making sure it's set and ready to go because we're supposed to get 6-12 inches of snow tomorrow. Snow in the North Georgia mountains, especially at our height, means no power or internet. Thankfully, we have an in-house generator, but there is no magic wand to make our internet work if it goes out. I could probably catch up on some reading. 

If it's not too cold or icy, we'll take the pups out to play at the dog park. I'm sure Sam has seen snow, but we have no idea if he spent much time in it. Either way, I'm sure he'll love it. I'll definitely get photos. 

Speaking of the dogs, a certain black bean turned 9 today. I can't believe our little girl is 9. Please slow time so we can enjoy all the fun and frustrations she brings. (Frustrations like her terrible gas which she only passes while facing me!) 

I am so upset over the fires in California. I have friends there, and I have been so worried about them. So far, they're okay, but so many others have lost everything. Please pray for them, and pray for their pets. Many didn't make it. Truly heartbreaking.
