Hello friends!
Wednesday it was 76 degrees here. Today, it's 50ish. Next week we'll hit the 30s again. I'm pretty sure Mother Nature is in extended menopause. It's been a busy few weeks here in the North Georgia mountains. Lots of writing in Lily Sprayberry, Chantilly Adair, and Rachel Ryder. I'm finishing up Rachel's second draft, which is due next week to the publisher, and pushing forward with Chantilly and her new 'dark mirror' adventure.
It's been rough lately though because I live with three very needed beings that require my attention, no demand it, constantly. If I don't have a 90 lb dog on my lap, then it's a 65 lb one, or if not her, then it's a 9 lb cat. Thank God my husband isn't so needy because I'd never catch a break! I'll be honest, I love my animals, but it isn't easy to type with them crowding my lap! Wedding plans are moving along for my daughter and her fiancé and my son and his fiancée. We have dates, and I've been scrolling through Pinterest nightly looking at ideas. Not that I have any say in them, but it's definitely fun to look!
Two weddings in one year (August and November, 2025) mean two dresses. I hate shopping. A lot. BUT, I did try and order some from Amazon, which was a huge fail. They looked like someone made a prom dress from my great grandmother's curtains. Not really what I had expected, for sure. So, I've got a shopping trip planned with a good friend in a few weeks. I hope it only takes the one day, but we'll see.
I have some book sales happening this week, so see below for the details, but first, check out my sweet babies. Oh, also...Scroll down for my preorders, and before I forget, you can enter to win 20 cozy mysteries and a Kindle by at this link. https://bit.ly/4jiKbBl I hope you'll enter! Have a great weekend
LILY SPRAYBERRY SELLS HOMES AND SOLVES CRIMES
A Georgia realtor is selling a townhouse—but there are perils hidden in the property—in this witty mystery by the USA Today–Bestselling author.
As a realtor with a front row seat to the drama of small-town life, I know that sometimes the things I see can be a little too personal for comfort. But when I'm approached to list and sell the now deceased lacrosse coach’s townhouse in order to fund a scholarship in his honor, I jump at the chance.
After all, what could be better than helping kids while earning a living? But as soon as I get started, I realize that someone is determined to make sure the place doesn't sell - and they're not afraid to ruin my reputation in the process.
Determined to get to the bottom of this mystery, my quirky but efficient sidekicks and I set out to uncover the truth and protect my livelihood, while making sure not to disrupt my boyfriend, the sheriff’s investigation. But as the danger mounts and the stakes get higher, I realize that I may be in over my head.
Will I be able to solve the case and save my reputation, or will I wind up the next victim in my idyllic Southern town?
