Another Witch Bites the Dust

Welcome to holiday hills where magic and mayhem are the daily specials…

Get ready for a quirky broomstick ride through Holiday Hills by USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR Carolyn Ridder Aspenson!

Welcome to the witchy world of Holiday Hills, where magic’s strong like the coffee, our residents are quirky, and the Enchanted Bookstore and Café is the hottest hang out.

I’m a newer witch, still getting used to the limits of my powers, and it’s like trying to fit a flying broomstick into a tiny cauldron! Thankfully, I’ve got my tribe which of course, includes my life-long, full of attitude Burmese cat familiar to walk me through it all.

But hold on to your spell books because there’s trouble brewing in our town! Cassandra Bloom, the baddest witch in town, maybe even the entire universe, has gone on that great broomstick ride in the sky. And she’s not coming back, if you know what I mean.

But let’s not get too excited. She didn’t die of old age. She was murdered! And now, the whole town is more shook than a cauldron during a lightning storm.

Cassandra might have been the witch everyone loved to hate, but now that she’s gone, everyone’s feeling like the wicked witch is back with a vengeance. How is that even possible?

Sure, my significant other, the town’s chief of police, is on the case, but sometimes he needs a little help from his gal. So, yep. I’ve got to figure out who’s behind this witchy whodunit before they strike again!

The problem is witches in Holiday Hills don’t always follow the rules. It’s like trying to herd cats while riding a broomstick! And if I don’t figure out the why, how, and who behind Cassandra’s murder, no one in town is safe. And I mean, no one, not even us witches!

So grab your familiars, witches and wizards, because we’ve got a mystery to solve!
